Welcome to our Home page

Cranesfield,

We are husband and wife duo, Jake and Suzanne Thomas living and barding on the sunny side of Titterstone Clee near Ludlow.
A musician and a storyteller,  together we sing songs and tell stories from a repertoire of traditional and original pieces.
We find our inspiration at the back of the sock drawer and places where no one else thinks to look!

In 2017, we're embarking on a new adventure, taking "The Elfin Knight and Other Stories" out into the world!

Suzanne Thomas,

(aka Story Sue)

storyteller from the Shropshire Hills, brings ancient tales and new stories out into the light from the valleys and hilltops where she lives. Stories of giants and dragons are interwoven with traditional tales and a little bit of "Grimm" for good measure.

Suzanne has been storytelling professionally since 2009 and has been working with the National Trust, Shropshire Libraries and local schools, and made her debut at Festival at The Edge in 2014.

"An engaging and delightful teller"

- Michael Harvey, Storyteller.

Jake Thomas,

has had a passion for music all his life, now with a finger-picking folk style guitar, inspired by the 60's and early 70's acoustic blues/folk legends. This self taught guitarist writes and performs his own compositions along with some covers from the greats and a few traditional folk songs thrown in.

Jake has been called "Acoustic guitar wizard" and "Magic Fingers Thomas".
